I love working with children and teaching them
the sport I love. The greatest think in the world is seeing a
young child go from being afraid of the water to competing on a
swim team in just a few years!

My father was a swim coach, so I began swimming
at 2. I coached and taught swimming in New Jersey before moving to
Louisiana in 1976. Both my son and grandchildren have, and
still, swim at Franco’s, and I swim on the Masters team
and compete in meets and the Senior Olympics. I recently qualified
to attend Senior Nationals in 2009.
Swimming is a way of life in our family and I am
happiest when I am in or around the pool teaching children this
life long sport.
