Invictus Report

We had a great State
Championship. It was a
long hard meet.
Despite the fact we couldn’t breathe, our noses were
dripping, and our eyes were swollen shut, at the end of day we had 12 State
titles, 9 Zone qualifiers , and 6 relays finishing in the top
3. We had 81% best
times: The HIGHEST in the state! Personally, I have never seen a
FINS team better prepared than this team was for this meet. I want to thank all the
coaches, including our strength coaches, for all their hard work
this season. It was
extremely nice having other coaches, meet officials, and stroke
judges commenting on our relay take offs, our starts, our turns,
our dolphin kick, and our stroke technique. Thank you.
Our Invictus Award goes
Denise Frantz for having an Awesome meet. Denise won all seven events that
she entered. Denise is
the only FIN in history (20 years) to win all seven events. Great job Denise on having
“unconquerable soul.”
